Position Title: Manager, Accounts Payable

ONxpress Transportation Partners has been selected by Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx to lead the charge in modernizing rail service across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas with the On-Corridor Works project. You are someone who:
- Oversight of Accounts Payable activities within a project which includes financial reporting and treasury functions in coordination with the Shared Services group.
- Sets up and manages all treasury functions of the project.
- Assists in the preparation of project cash flows and other requested reports,
- Actively manages cash for the project. Close review to confirm paid when paid structure.
- Develops, implements and manages adequate internal control procedures.
- Collaborates with internal and external audits.
- Corporate Credit Cards management and processing.
- AP Management, to ensure timely payments.
- Holdback Release analysis and control.
- Develops and issue KPIs to manage AP process.
- Follows up Aconex’s approval comments, to get approvals for payments.
- Subcontracts invoices review for compliance with contract terms and required documentation.
- Ensures that LOA approvals are complete and follow up LOA.
- Enhances finance processes to achieve financial goals and improve efficiency and profitability.
- Supervises, mentors and develops of project AP Team.
- Supports preparation of financial presentations & analyses for the leadership team.
- Performs ad-hoc financial analyses (including “what-if” scenario analysis) as required to support business partners.
- Liaises with Partners finance groups to request and process billings for staff, expenses, overheads etc. and ensure the accuracy of the information being processed

You bring:
- 7+ years of professional finance experience, preferably in the Construction industry.
- Degree in Accounting or Business Management desirable
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s, etc.
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a leadership capacity.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong knowledge of financial management is required.
- Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This position is with ONxpress Civils (“CJV” aka the Design & Construction team); the project segment responsible for the modernization and modification of the key area network, including countless innovations in the way the regional rail infrastructure is built.
