Position Title: Quality Coordinator
Who We Are
Metrolinx’s GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The investment will generate thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities across the region. The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce innovative solutions across the GO Transit network.
What You’ll Do

Support the implementation of quality assurance & control activities as defined in Quality Plans, procedures, and ITPs.

Perform and document inspections and tests assigned in the applicable ITPs.

Assist in evaluating and documenting the quality of construction work performed by ONxpress Civil Contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Verify that equipment used for testing and inspection is fit for purpose and properly calibrated, as required.

Identify and report non‑compliant work or materials when observed and assist in tracking the status of related Non‑conformances.

Help ensure non‑compliant work or materials are not processed, installed, or used until corrective actions are taken.

Coordinate quality‑related activities with Quality Managers, other quality coordinators, inspectors, and external agencies as required by the ITPs.

Support the completion, accuracy, and organization of quality records and documentation.

Assist in reviewing test packages and related documentation prior to inspections and testing.

Prepare and maintain quality records for assigned work areas.

Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
-
A degree in Civil Engineer, Construction Management, or related industry.

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in heavy civil projects.

Preferably experience or understanding of transit or construction systems in Ontario

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Proficiency with MS tools, document control, etc.

Experience with Metrolinx project or similar asset

Experience leading standards audits and techniques.

Preferably to have ISO 9001:2015 Lead / Internal Auditor certification.
Expected compensation for this role is between $70,000.00-85,000.00 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance-based bonus program.
