PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Labourer will be responsible to ensure Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. achieves their general and specific project requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and clean up construction sites
- Move materials and equipment and perform demolition, excavation and compaction activities
- Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas; remove rubble and other debris)
- Spot for equipment operators when required
- Sparkwatch/firewatch
- General site maintenance
- Snow removal when required

- Physical strength and stamina

- Ability to work a significant number of hours throughout the day
- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.63-$30.90 per hour
