About Us 

Aecon is a premier contractor with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) completing numerous long term maintenancecontracts to help support the future long term operation of the Darlington Nuclear Station.


 The Onboarding and Training Team is looking for the ideal candidate to join the team as a Workforce Deployment Administrator. The Workforce Deployment Administrator is responsible for ensuring nuclear in-processing of OPG Security Clearance and nuclear plant access badging for all employees assigned to projects at the Darlington and Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.

 

What You'll Do Here 

 

  • Initiate OPG Clearance applications with joint-venture employees, subcontractors and potential new hires
  • Assist in accurate completion and submission of clearance applications including verification of identification and supporting documentation as per OPG clearance procedural requirements 
  • Issue compliance reports, track and confirm completion of clearance renewals ensuring all employees maintain active clearance status
  • Obtain all worker dose history from National Dose Registry
  • Act as single point of contact for OPG Clearance Office in the processing of all related security clearance applications, renewals and actions
  • Act as single point of contact for all access requests for onboarding.  
  • Provide and assist with completion of Radiological Access Forms during new hire onboarding
  • Facilitate TLD verification and requirements for new and existing employees
  • Assist projects with visitor badging and requirements as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
