Faster.Smarter.Safer. This is how Aecon is committed to delivering projects. Aecon Energy Solutions Inc. (AESI) is ready to become British Columbia's #1 utility construction provider and we’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to help us get there! 

 

The Warehouse Manager will report to the Deployment Manager and will be responsible for the receipt, recording, storing, issuance and tracking of materials and equipment at the warehouse.

 

What You'll Do Here:

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.

  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure stock accuracy.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel, for reporting and communication with team members and management.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain management.

  • Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.

  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication.

  • Train new staff on warehouse operations and safety protocols.

  • Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise within the warehouse.

  • Responsible for the receipt, storage location maintenance, issuance, and tracking of materials and equipment.

  • Coordinate, support, prepare, and review delivery documents.

  • Coordinate with buyers and/or expeditors regarding shipment issues.

  • Follow the project-specific material control plan, project quality assurance, and receiving inspection.

  • Ensure that all tools are correctly identified, safely stored, and preserved in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.

  • Follow the project health, safety, and environmental requirements.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 5 years + experience in materials management and logistics.

  • Technical education or equivalent experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to deliver and perform tasks with minimal supervision.

 

The expected pay range for this position is between $85,000 - $120,000.
