Reporting to the Director of Quality, Manager of Quality Programs and Procedures is responsible for developing, maintaining, quality program/plan and procedures.
What You'll Do Here
- Developing and Maintaining Corporate Level Quality Program Plan and Procedures and coordinating periodic reviews
- Review Project Quality Plans to ensure consistent implementation of the Quality Assurance Program Procedures
- Develops and administers Indoctrination and various QA training.
- Participates in industry committees for QA related codes, standards and regulations and reviews applicable codes and standards to ensure Quality Assurance Program remains current with them.
- May participate in Commercial Grade Dedication activities and Procurement Document reviews to ensure flow-down of Quality Assurance Program Requirements
- May participate in proposal development related as it relates to quality.
- May Liaise with customers, regulatory authorities, subcontractors and/or internal departments on matters related to quality.
- Identifies quality problems, initiates non-conformance reports or corrective action requests and verifies implementation of dispositions.
What You Bring To The Team
- A 4Y degree from an accredited university in a Quality or Engineering related field with a minimum of 7 years experience in the nuclear power generation or federal nuclear industry. Alternatively, a two-year associates’ degree from an accredited college and 10 years’ experience in a Quality related position within the nuclear industry, OR 15 years of experience in construction or nuclear industry related Quality Assurance
- Previous Experience Developing and maintaining a Quality program and procedure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Computer literate in MS Office, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Verifiable experience planning and performing Quality Control Inspections (mechanical, civil/structural, material receipt and welding inspection disciplines) & NDE (availability of previous inspection and/or NDE qualification records for review is desired)
- Past or present ASME NQA-1 Nuclear Lead Auditor certification is desired
- Excellent understanding and ability to apply the following:
