Position Overview
We are hiring an Aggregates Scale and Sales Administrator to support the 2025 Road Construction Season. This is a seasonal position from April to December located in Medicine Hat, AB.
Key Responsibilities:
Ticket Entry & Order Processing:
- Enter daily scale tickets into system accurately
- Ensure all tickets match sales records
- Assist with generating invoices based on ticket data
- Ability to batch edit tickets and or orders
Truck Scaling & Coordination:
- Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks using the scale system
- Ensure proper documentation for each load
- Communicate with drivers to confirm load detail and destinations
- Direct coordination with loader operator
Customer Communications:
- Assist customer and driver with inquiries about order, tickets and scaling
- Provide pricing and product information as needed
- Maintain friendly and professional relationship with clients and vendors
- Assist processing of Cash Sales
- Assist in Customer Account Set Ups
Administrative Support
- Maintain on site safety requirements
- Maintain records of daily transactions and reports
- Assist in reconciling ticket discrepancies
- Support operations team with basic administrative tasks
- Purchase Order and Requisition creation
- Order and schedule site facility requirements
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in scale house operation an asset
- Experience in scale Software “Fast-Weigh” an asset
- Experience in data entry, customer service or administrative roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and Ticketing Software as asset
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Familiarity with aggregate or construction materials is an asset
- Administrative Certificate or Diploma is an asset
- Must have own transportation to and from work
- Must be able to work alone for long periods of time
- Willing to work overtime, as required.
