Position Overview

Reporting to the General Manager, the Locates Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the daily activities of multiple job sites.
What You’ll Do Here:

Create, manage and distribute documentation and correspondence.

Create locate packages.

Screen requests and identify issues to determine priority.

Schedule and dispatch Locators for utility locates.

Dispatch locate requests.
-
Attend client coordination conference meetings.
-
Coordinate and provide meeting set-up for internal and external meetings.

Support the billing process to ensure accuracy.

What You Bring to the Team:

Experience with utility locates is considered a strong asset.

Communication – excellent ability to clearly and effectively communicate information and clarify requirements both orally and in writing.

Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated customer service skills.

Ability to work in a multi-client environment, applying client-specific business processes to individual service request situations.

Work with a sense of urgency by demonstrating the ability to shift priorities to accomplish objectives.

Effectively manage time to keep commitments to both internal and external clients.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products (MS work, MS Excel, MS Outlook).

Highly organized and able to multi-task.

Ability to probe and gather detailed information from callers, assess issues accurately and assign level of priority.
