140+ years in the industry means Aecon’s roots in construction and infrastructure development run deep. We have earned the position of the preferred contractor to numerous public entities and Public-Private Partnerships (P3s) across Canada and abroad. Our Construction segment includes all aspects of the construction of both public and private infrastructure in the Civil, Urban Transportation, Nuclear, Utility, and Conventional Industrial sectors. We operate primarily in Canada but selectively pursue international initiatives.

Reporting to the Aecon Indigenous Relations Manager for the ECI NSL/ NEPL projects, the Document Control Coordinator will provide administration, field and operational support, and coordination across several Indigenous communities.
What You Will Do Here:

Track and receive drawings and documentation.

Ensure drawings and documents meet cataloging requirements.

Maintain project documentation according to project filing requirements.

Interface with project team to coordinate documentation control activites.

Generating transmittals to send documentation to external parties through electronic or hard copy means.

Verify the accuracy of transmittals.

Expedite review of internal and external documentation with engineering teams.
What You Bring to the Team:

Five years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Basic knowledge of engineering terminology.

Ability to understand and classify drawings and documentation.

Proficient with Electronic Document Management Systems.
