Position Title: System Assets Configuration Coordinator
Who We Are:
Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd. that was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rail and Systems (SSE-SRS) package. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.
As part of this project, we are currently looking for a System Assets Configuration Coordinator to join our team.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain and update asset information registers and databases throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the collection, validation, and organization of physical and digital asset data.
- Assist with asset tagging, tracking, and handover activities.
- Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies or missing information.
- Support configuration management activities by maintaining configuration item records and baselines.
- Assist in tracking changes to project assets, documents, and configuration-controlled information.
- Support configuration reviews and audits.
- Ensure required documentation is accurately recorded and aligned with project procedures.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines and project teams.
- Participate in review meetings and track actions.
- Support client reporting and audit preparation.
- Support process improvements for asset and configuration management.
- Assist with data analysis and validation activities.
- Contribute to dashboarding and automation initiatives.
- Support data integration activities across project systems.
Experience You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Management, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in asset management, configuration management, project coordination, document control, engineering support, or data management roles.
- Familiarity with asset management principles and asset lifecycle processes.
- Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Exposure to EAM platforms such as SAP, Maximo, Hexagon, or similar systems.
- Understanding configuration management principles and change control processes is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Python, or automation tools is an asset but not required.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annually. The listed salary range reflects potential base pay and considers factors such as experience, education, and training. Each candidate is evaluated individually and offers toward the higher end may be extended to those with exceptional qualifications.
