Position Title: Total Rewards & Performance Coordinator
Who We Are:
Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd. that was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rail and Systems (SSE-SRS) package. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.
As part of this project, we are currently looking for a Total Rewards & Performance Coordinator to join our team.
What You Will Do:
- Provide administrative and coordination support for compensation, incentives, salary administration, benefits, payroll, performance management, wellness programs, and other Total Rewards initiatives.
- Coordinate payroll activities, assist with audits and reconciliations, and respond to employee pay inquiries.
- Support compensation programs, including salary benchmarking, market analysis, salary review administration, compensation reporting, and job evaluation activities.
- Coordinate benefits administration activities, including employee enrollments, changes, terminations, and liaison with benefits providers.
- Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, review administration, completion tracking, and reporting.
- Support employee engagement, wellness, and recognition programs through coordination, communications, reporting, and event administration.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, metrics, workforce analytics, and ad hoc reporting to support business and operational needs.
- Maintain employee data and support HR system onboarding activities, including creating and onboarding employees, processing transactions, reporting, testing, and system updates.
- Create, maintain, and update documents, templates, communications, and program materials.
- Liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support and enhance Total Rewards and Performance Management programs and initiatives.
- Respond to employee inquiries and support policy communication and employee education related to Total Rewards and Performance Management programs, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure data integrity, compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, programs, and the employee experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience You Will Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Total Rewards, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, or a related specialization.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and competing deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated customer service focus, providing responsive, professional, and employee-centric support.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or workforce management systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, reporting, and data analysis, are considered an asset.

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually. The listed salary range reflects potential base pay and considers factors such as experience, education, and training. Each candidate is evaluated individually and offers toward the higher end may be extended to those with exceptional qualifications.
