What is the Opportunity?
We are seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead all project controls activities for large-scale civil construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring successful, timely, and profitable project delivery.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Implement and maintain advanced project controls systems and tools to manage earned value, cash flow, cost, revenue, forecasting, and scheduling.
- Lead the adoption of standardized processes across teams, ensuring accuracy and consistency in key project metrics.
- Collaborate closely with Estimating, Operations, and Finance to refine forecasting methodologies and improve financial visibility.
- Provide strategic input on commercial, administrative, and reporting requirements during project setup and execution.
- Oversee all scheduling activities, ensuring alignment with project milestones and contractual obligations.
- Manage baseline schedules and ensure timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead schedule analysis, forecasting, and change management processes to support project agility and responsiveness.
- Conduct in-depth performance reviews and generate comprehensive monthly reports for senior leadership.
- Approve all project controls reporting and ensure forecasts are accurate and aligned with project goals.
- Monitor progress and cost tracking systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines.
- Support and guide change management efforts, including subcontractor claims, change requests, and dispute resolution.
- Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect project outcomes.
- Contribute to risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives across the project controls function.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project controls professionals.
- Coordinate resource planning and allocation in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Serve as a key liaison between Estimators, Project Managers, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, partners, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and transparency.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
- 10–15 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in SAP, Primavera, Hard Dollar, Accubid, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish is required
