The EHS Advisor position (Day Shift/Night Shift) reporting to the EHS Lead will be responsible for ensuring his/her team actively promotes a health, safety and environmental culture to all levels of employees in support of River Bend Station (RBS) Q1 2023 (RF 23) Scheduled Outage.    

⦁    Entergy River Bend Nuclear Station (RBS), located in St. Francisville, LA
⦁    Complete removal of existing Admiralty Brass and 70-30 Cu-Ni Condenser 1A/1B tubes
⦁    Cleaning, inspection and repairs of existing tube sheets and tube support plates
⦁    Installation of 69,812 new corrosion resistant tubes 
⦁    Installation of preventative tube plugs
⦁    Removal/re-installation of (4) condenser outlet water boxes
⦁    Removal/replacement of (4) outlet expansion joints 
⦁    Replacement of existing water box, strainer and expansion joint bolting
⦁    Assist in removal of FWH 5A/5B
⦁    Assist in final alignment and bolting of new FWH 5A/5B
⦁    Restore condenser shell opening for FWH replacement 
⦁    Replace (6) expansion bellows located internal to the condenser
⦁    Replace/upgrade FAC piping as required by Entergy 

⦁    Promote, educate and reinforce Company Safety Policies and Regulatory Standards
⦁    Train project staff in the requirements of conventional safety procedures
⦁    Track and report safety-related statistics
⦁    Manage Return to Work, Modified duties cases at the field level
⦁    Complete and document EHS field inspections, observations and incident investigation reports
⦁    Ensure proper case management for any work-related injuries or illness
⦁    Support field activities

⦁    A designation such as OSHA 510 or OSHA 511
⦁    Minimum 5 years of senior experience in Health and Safety within the nuclear industry
⦁    Relevant Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience in the Health and Safety Field
⦁    A Team Player that accepts and can manage change regularly
⦁    Demonstrated Leadership abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills
⦁     Must be comfortable working in Radiological Work Areas
⦁     Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc.   

⦁    Work outage shift schedules – ex. 12hr shifts 6-7 days a week 
⦁    Report to work Fit For Duty (FFD) 

⦁    Must be able to be badged at a US Nuclear facility
⦁    Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
⦁    Must pass Entergy training/supervisor requirements and testing

This position will start out of Jackon office South Carolina , and then later the employee will be deployed to the project site in St. Francisville, Louisiana.
