From our work delivering the two largest refurbishment projects (Savannah River nuclear station and North Anna Power Station) in North America to deploying the first grid-scale SMR in the western world. As an HVAC Technician, you will report to the Field Supervisor and be responsible for completing HVAC service and installation jobs for our customers. 

 

 

Citizenship:This position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations. As a result, applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements.

 

 

 

What You'll Do Here:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and W/H equipment issues.
  • Resolves product or service problems by investigating the client/customer’s needs, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution for the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Serves customers by resolving product and service challenges, as well as providing relevant product and service information that helps solve them.
  • Educate customers on new equipment and technologies.
  • Present customers with information and pricing on service offerings, accessories, quality, cost, and other relevant home comfort improvements.
  • Complete approved repairs and installations within industry-standard timelines, following proper safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging

 

 

What You Bring:

  • Integrity. We lead by example, with humility and courage.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and W/H equipment issues.
  • 10 or more years of experience as an HVAC installation, maintenance, or service technician.
  • EPA refrigerant certified.
  • 313A/313D certification considered an asset.
  • Knowledge with brazing, soldering, and welding
  • Experience following controls/wiring schematics and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, team player and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a winning attitude to go above and beyond
  • Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
