This opportunity is a position at KPC Power Electricial Ltd. an Aecon Utilities company. KPC Power Electrical Ltd. is a progressive, high-voltage electrical contractor located in Ajax, Ontario, Canada. Reporting to the Division Manager, the Project Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to project teams, ensuring the accurate coordination of project documentation, billing processes, scheduling, and data management. in person at our Ajax office.
What You'll Do Here:
- Collect and organize timesheets on a weekly basis; track tasks and hours for billing purposes then verify and organize for payroll.
- Populate backup billing spreadsheets, and complete billing spreadsheet for month-end.
- Assist with scheduling with Project Coordinators, Supervisors and Project Managers; On-Call Calendar and updating call service of changes.
- Create and manage an organized database of historical project data.
- Manage new customer setup methodically and confidentially.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Various administrative tasks.

What You Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Must possess 2 + years of office related experience with knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable and payroll. Basic accounting knowledge is required.
- Intermediate level of computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel
- Experience with SAP is an asset
- Strong communication skills, ability to deal tactfully with employees, visitors and customers
- Must be a team player, be able to work independently and prioritize workload
- Strong work ethic and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team environment
The expected salary for this position is $45k - $55k. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
