What Is The Opportunity?

Calgary Construction Operations is hiring a Paving Foreman to support our Paving Division in Calgary, Alberta for the 2026 Season.  

What You'll Do Here:

• Ensure the asphalt mix is placed to the correct grade and thickness
• Inspect the prepared area before paving
• Coordinate with trucks delivering asphalt to the paver
• Inspect paved surfaces for quality and smoothness
• Responsible for inputting time daily.
• Responsible for managing all daily construction activities on the site(s).
• Overseeing crews on large scale asphalt paving projects.
• Plan, schedule, organize, direct and control construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
• Working and communicating with Superintendents and Project Managers/Coordinators.

What You Bring to the Team:

• 3+ years' experience as a Asphalt Paving Foreman.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
• Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license or better.
• Willing to work overtime, nightshift and weekends, as required.
• Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
• Other duties as assigned.
