The successful candidate core function will be to keep our training documents and curriculum up to date as the business needs change. In addition, he/she will help train our in-house employees when needed. We’re looking for a self-starting employee that loves technology and can jump in with both feet and take over the training curriculum and ensure training requirements are met. A background in the technical communications (internet, phone, smart home) an asset however not required.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring installation training documents are up to date with all standards and procedures that are supplied from our customers.
  • Ensuring all staff have required training, which includes follow up on training, and escalating to manager any non-compliant staff.
  • Delivering various training (safety, installation, customer service) to in house employees and subcontractors
  • Updating our online training portal when needed (word press site - we can train how to upload documents)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Knowledge & Experience: 

  • Minimum Grade 12 education (required) with preference for post secondary degree or diploma
  • 1 to 2 years related work experience
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Proven time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different management levels
  • A proven team player
  • Computer savvy in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Ability to organize work and carry out the duties of the position with independence.
  • Able to adhere to a highly focused safety culture
  • Ability to problem solve and use initiative
  • Successful completion of security clearance and criminal background check
