What Is The Opportunity? 

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Continuous Improvement Coordinator provides administrative, coordination, and program support to the larger Nuclear Continuous Improvement team. The role performs a variety of complex, and at times confidential, administrative tasks that must align with company policies and procedures. This position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment within defined parameters and escalating issues as appropriate to the Project Manager. The role may support multiple departments or initiatives as directed by the Project Manager. In addition to administrative and office support, the role supports communications and engagement activities for the Nuclear CI program. This includes preparing and distributing program communications, supporting awareness and branding efforts, and helping ensure CI initiatives, meetings, and CI‑hosted Nuclear events are well coordinated and clearly communicated.

 

What You’ll Do Here

  • As one of the first points of contact for the team, present a positive and professional image
  • Manage incoming communications (phone, email, written), route messages appropriately, and support general team communication needs
  • Facilitates, and manage key stakeholder meetings related to key initiatives, including planning, problem solving and change management
  • Prepare and maintain meeting agendas, minutes, and routine project documentation; provide general administrative support as required
  • Prepare presentation materials and supporting documentation as required
  • Work with the finance team to run reports out of SAP for Project Managers to show time charged out to their projects each week
  • Coordinate and support CI‑related meetings, workshops, events, and governance cadences, including scheduling, materials, follow‑ups, and action tracking
  • Support planning and coordination of CI‑hosted Nuclear events, forums, and alignment or rollout activities
  • Draft and distribute CI communications (e.g., launches, invitations, reminders, follow‑ups) to support stakeholder awareness and engagement
  • Align communication timing and messaging with CI initiative milestones, supporting consistency across initiatives as needed
  • Support post‑event and post‑milestone follow‑ups, including summaries, feedback coordination, and visibility of outcomes
  • Provide engagement and visibility support for CI initiatives, including coordination with Nuclear Communications on highlight and internal awareness materials
  • Coordinate and align communications with the Nuclear Communications team for project launches, upcoming changes, and new initiative rollouts

 

What You Bring To The Team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully and professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
  • Strong problem‑solving, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet timelines, and coordinate meetings, materials, and follow‑ups across multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures, equipment, and electronic and manual filing systems
  • Intermediate marketing and engagement skills, such as supporting internal awareness materials, event highlights, and coordination with Communications teams
  • Knowledge and experience with Canva and Adobe design tools would be considered a strong asset
  • Experience with putting together communication plans and general marketing material
  • Post‑secondary education in business management or related field, minimum of five years of executive‑level support experience preferred

Salary range: $70,000- $80,000

 

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
