Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of a designated region.
What You'll Do Here:
- Oversee the financial performance of assigned projects and ensure targets outlined in business plans are achieved.

Report financial performance, workload status, potential risks, and emerging opportunities to the General Manager.

Address project‑level disputes and escalate legal or complex issues to the General Manager as required.

Partner with the General Manager to build a management team with clearly defined responsibilities across all operational areas.

Support staff development by preparing succession plans for key departmental roles.

Approve expenditures and proposal pricing within your delegated authority.

Maintain professional relationships with major clients and applicable union representatives.

Ensure that all activities within the designated region align with corporate and divisional strategies, business plans, policies, and procedures.

Provide leadership and direction to Superintendents and field crews within the region.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team:
-
Post‑secondary education in Engineering, Construction Project Management, or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Project Management role within the electrical or renewable energy sector, including experience with utility interconnections in brownfield environments.

Experience working within the utility contracting industry.

Demonstrated leadership abilities along with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to address and resolve project issues with minimal guidance.

Proven ability to foster collaboration and cooperation across teams and departments.

Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office and MS Project.

Experience developing and maintaining project schedules.

Self‑motivated with strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience in renewable energy construction is considered an asset.
