What is the Opportunity?
The Proposal Intern will support the development and submission of proposals (including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs) to prospective clients. This role is critical to the business development process and offers hands-on experience in proposal coordination, content development, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do Here:
- Proposal Process Support: Assist in managing proposal schedules, tracking deadlines, and ensuring deliverables are submitted on time.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Work with multiple departments (Business Development, Estimating, Finance, Engineering, Legal, Contracts, Quality, CM/PM, Procurement) to gather information and maintain content consistency.
- Content Development: Help draft and organize proposal sections, edit contributions, and maintain a library of standard content (boilerplate text, project descriptions, resumes).
- Quality Assurance: Review proposal content for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and compliance with RFP/RFI requirements.
- Communication and Follow-Up: Support kick-off and debrief meetings, track progress, and assist with client follow-up after submission.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage printing and production of proposal materials, track proposal status, and maintain related databases and files.
What You Bring To The Team:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Understanding of proposal development processes and RFP/RFI requirements is an asset.
- Interest in the nuclear or construction industry is a plus.
