From our work delivering the two largest refurbishment projects (Savannah River nuclear station and North Anna Power Station) in North America to deploying the first grid-scale SMR in the western world. We continue moving forward with a strategic focus on decarbonizing energy systems in support of a net zero future.
Reporting to the Director of Quality, Manager of Audits & Assessments is responsible for maintaining and implementing the Internal and Supplier Quality audit and assessment program.

What You'll Do Here:
- Recruiting and assigning Auditors & Lead Auditors
- Provide Indoctrination, training and certification of Auditors and Lead Auditors
- Scheduling audits and coordinating the activities of the audit teams including Subcontract Audit Services
- Tracking and reporting the status of audits and schedules
- Utilization and evaluation of NIAC audits and active participation in NIAC meetings
- Reviewing completed audits for adverse trends
- Maintain Audit and auditor certification database files and records
- Facilitate integration, Maintainenance and distribution of a list of qualified suppliers
- Provide input and technical guidance in the development and updating of quality documents and procedures
- Providing annual budget requirements to the Director of Quality
- May participate in Commercial Grade Dedication activities and Procurement Document reviews to ensure flow-down of Quality Assurance Program Requirements
- May participate in proposal development related as it relates to quality.
- May Liaise with customers, regulatory authorities, subcontractors and/or internal departments on matters related to quality.
- May participate in audits as Lead Auditor or Auditor
- May facilitate external audit preparation and execution
- Identifies quality problems, initiates non-conformance reports or corrective action requests and verifies implementation of dispositions.
- Follow-up of corrective actions to ensure verify effectiveness
What You Bring To The Team:
- A 4Y degree from an accredited university in a Quality or Engineering related field with a minimum of 7 years experience in the nuclear power generation or federal nuclear industry. Alternatively, a two-year associates’ degree from an accredited college and 10 years’ experience in a Quality related position within the nuclear industry, OR 15 years of experience in construction or nuclear industry related Quality Assurance
- Previous Experience Developing and maintaining Audits and Assessment program.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Computer literate in Database applications, MS Office, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Verifiable experience planning and performing Quality Control Inspections (mechanical, civil/structural, material receipt and welding inspection disciplines) & NDE (availability of previous inspection and/or NDE qualification records for review is desired)
- Current ASME NQA-1 and ANSI N45-2 Nuclear Lead Auditor certification
