What is the Opportunity?

 

United Engineers and Constructors, an Aecon Company, is seeking two (2) Project Information Specialists (a.k.a Configuration Management Specialists) with experience supporting Duke Energy’s McGuire and Catawba Nuclear Stations. This would be an onsite position, one at each facility. Responsibilities include the care and handling of enterprise-wide company and project documents, which include electronic records management, distribution, classification, and retention.  Project Information Management utilizes the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control, and report on all project and company information throughout the organization.

What You'll Do Here:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Performs data entry and maintains and organizes project and engineering information into an enterprise content management system.
      • Identifies and extracts reports and performs queries from enterprise content management system.
      • Oversee internal and external document review process.
      • Maintains proper information configuration management in support of engineering and construction.
      • Interfaces with project material control, scheduling, expediting, construction, and client engineering to ensure time/cost effectiveness of all documentation activities.
      • Administers field / construction information management processes and procedures. (job responsibilities)

 

What You Bring to The Team:

Education:

High School diploma or demonstrated equivalent.

 

Experience:

2 years of experience in information management. Knowledge and experience with enterprise content management systems and Microsoft Windows environment.

 

Level Specific Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, resolves most problems but refers more complex issues to higher level management. 
  • Processes documents (including indexing into database and/or enterprise content management system).
  • May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues.
  • May orient, train, assign, and check the work of lower-level employees.
