Reporting Coordinator

Position Overview

Aecon Nuclear provides a full spectrum of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services, in addition to maintenance and manufacturing services tailored to meet the demanding requirements of the nuclear power industry.

 

The joint venture between SNC-Lavalin and Aecon has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to carry out the Darlington Retube and Feeder Replacement (RFR) project. The project involves refurbishment of all four reactors at the Darlington Generating Station and consists of two phases – a Definition Phase and an Execution Phase. The Definition Phase includes the construction of a full-scale reactor mock-up to simulate key elements of the refurbishment work, and the development, procurement and testing of specialized tooling required for the project. The Execution Phase involves refurbishment of the reactor cores using the tools and methods that were developed and tested during the Definition Phase.


The Onboarding and Training Support Team is looking for the ideal candidate to join the team as a Training Coordinator - Reporting. The Training Coordinator - Reporting is responsible for supporting the CanAtom Training Organization with performance reports and metrics. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate reports from client and project LMS for project Training Coordinators to meet reporting deadlines and requirements
  • Develop standardized format for all training reports
  • Preparation and review of training metrics report by project
  • Interface with client concerning training attendance and provide weekly accountability reports
  • Work with Corporate Learning Team to develop queries to extract data on department needs
  • Facilitate and liaise with other departments on various issues, questions, and requests for training related data needs
  • Verify accuracy of data and ensure reconciliation between client and project LMS
  • Responsible for new hire, and daily credit transfer between client and project LMS
  • Lead special projects/analyses on an ad hoc basis as assigned by the Manager or Senior Manager
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Two to three years related experience
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and other learning technologies
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Power BI knowledge
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in teams
  • Ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and tasks
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability
