Operate responsibly by managing risk, safety, and environmental considerations across all our projects and surrounding communities.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Establish and maintain project control frameworks (cost, schedule, and progress).
- Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
- Oversee cost tracking, variance analysis (CV, SV), and overall financial performance.
- Develop and maintain master schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
- Implement and monitor Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology.
- Produce clear executive reports for project leadership and senior management.
- Manage scope changes, potential claims, and cost/schedule impacts.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, procurement, and contracts teams.
- Mentor and support project controls analysts and specialists, as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with Aecon internal processes and client contractual requirements.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls on major infrastructure projects ($100M+).
- Proven experience on large-scale construction or civil engineering projects.
- Strong expertise in cost control, scheduling, and financial forecasting.
- Proficiency with project controls tools, including: Primavera P6 (mandatory), SAP, InEight, advanced Excel, and Power BI.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
