- Prepare and maintain CAD drawings, surfaces, alignments, profiles, and other digital deliverables using Civil 3D and MicroStation.
- Prepare and review engineering, survey, and construction drawings.
- Perform coordinate transformations, datum conversions, and geospatial data integration.
- Process, analyze, and integrate LiDAR, survey, GIS, and geospatial datasets into CAD workflows.
- Maintain accurate survey records, documentation, and project submittals.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of survey data, calculations, drawings, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate with survey team, engineers, designers, and project managers to support project execution.
- Ensure CAD deliverables meet project standards and submission requirements.
- Provide survey calculations and layout data to field staff for construction activities.
- Provide back-up support for other surveying staff.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Post-secondary education in Geomatics, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting, geomatics, construction surveying, cadastral surveying, or a related field.
- Experience with survey calculations, coordinate systems, datum transformations, and geospatial data management.
- Strong understanding of survey practices, survey control networks, and construction layout.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, design plans, and CAD files.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Bentley, Autodesk, ESRI, Trimble Business Center (TBC), and point cloud processing software is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
