What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Project Controls Director, the Project Controls Manager will play a critical role in supporting active projects by developing, maintaining and monitoring project budgets, schedules and ensuring accurate forecasting. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing team, supporting large, complex civil infrastructure projects in the USA. 

 

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Manage and oversee cost controls reporting, forecasting, scheduling, and project reporting.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to develop and maintain the project construction schedule across the entire project life cycle.
  • Create and implement key scheduling requirements such as coding, naming conventions, client requirements management protocol, project calendars and resource loading.
  • Work with the Operations team to establish progress and quantity tracking processes.
  • Analyze schedule variances, monitor schedule KPI’s and support resource planning and analysis.
  • Performs productivity analysis of construction operations and identifies opportunities for improvements.
  • Prepare required progress reports and dashboards to provide project status updates to the project team and external clients.
  • Develop and facilitate payment applications to the client.
  • Collaborate with all cross functional teams to maintain, add, or modify the schedule data and plans.
     

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 5+ years planning and cost controls experience in Civil construction projects.
  • College or University degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of project planning and scheduling software (Primavera P6).
  • Extensive experience with SAP.
  • Proven experience and ability in cost reporting, planning, scheduling, and managing complex projects.
  • Proven problem solver and a team player with sound judgment, who accepts ownership and accountability.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).

 

Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000 per annum USD

 

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
