About Us
The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and SNC-Lavalin located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.
What is the Opportunity?
The Project Payroll Administrator supports the accurate and timely processing of project-based payroll and timekeeping activities. Reporting to the Project Payroll Supervisor, with dotted line reporting to the Project Finance Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity, compliance with company policies and applicable collective agreements, and effective coordination between field teams, payroll, and finance.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date timekeeping records, performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of payroll operations
- Responsible for the Time and Attendance System including employee onboarding, offboarding and crew maintenance.
- Perform payroll duties such as verifying and submitting all timesheets, audit reports, preparing new employee packages and termination/layoff forms, rate changes, and travel and board calculations.
- Assist the project managers and superintendents in tracking analysis of ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with the Time and Attendance System team to set up new employees with biometrics.
- Maintain the filing system for payroll documents in accordance with auditing procedures.
- Maintain documents for employee information including EPSCA travel and board applications.
- Provide backup for entering daily payroll via approved timesheets in SAP.
- Collect, and verify daily labour timesheets for data Payroll entry and processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 1–3 years of payroll, timekeeping, or administrative experience, preferably within a construction or project-based environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) for payroll processing and reporting considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with strong Excel skills for data tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with site teams, payroll, and finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support peers and contribute to overall project success.
Due to the nature of work conducted by Shoreline, mandated nuclear export controls requirements must be met for employment.

Those with a valid Bruce Power security clearance are strongly preferred.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $50,000-$56,000
