What Is The Opportunity?

The Shoreline Power Group (SPG) is a fully integrated joint venture of Aecon and AtkinsRéalis located in Kincardine, Ontario. SPG is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program, which replaces the main components of six reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders, as well as construction management and trade labour. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.

Working with the Manager, Series Training, the Junior Project Coordinator, Series Training supports the coordination and delivery of training programs through documentation control, tracking, and training-centre support. This role plays a key part in keeping training activities organized and on track by maintaining records, supporting material readiness, and assisting with day-to-day coordination between training and field stakeholders. It also supports the practical operation of the training environment to ensure materials, classrooms, and trackers are in place for training delivery.

This role supports development of capability in coordination, data tracking, and exposure to structured training approaches such as the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).

What You’ll Do Here

• Input and maintain training records, filing systems, and trackers to ensure accuracy and organization, and issue training reports
• Book classrooms and prepare training spaces for scheduled activities
• Support creation and formatting of training aids and materials
• Print, assemble, and organize training materials
• Support coordination of training logistics, including rooms, materials, and attendance records
• Assist with documentation of training plans and schedules
• Liaise with trainers and stakeholders to support training flow
• Support coordination of deliveries, consumables, mock-up components, and training materials
• Assist with requisitions and coordination of supplies required for training
• Support continuous improvement of trackers and processes
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Team

• Education to include an undergraduate degree in Engineering or a technical diploma, or equivalent experience
• Experience in construction or coordination environments is considered an asset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Experience with Canva is considered an asset
• Ability to manage records and support logistics in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with data management systems is considered an asset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
• Foundational understanding of adult learning principles
• Working awareness of SAT and ADDIE concepts

Reason for vacancy: Replacement

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
