About Us
The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon and AtkinsRéalis located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.
Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Tooling Management Coordinator is a highly motivated self-starter responsible for maintaining tooling accuracy and availability for the Bruce Power Major Component Replacement (MCR) project. This role oversees the receipt, registration, and auditing of tooling, maintains CribMaster data integrity, and provides inventory management training to project personnel. The position requires close collaboration with trades, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve shipment discrepancies, update work instructions, and drive continuous process improvements.
What You'll Do Here
• Verify incoming tooling shipments and ensure accurate documentation
• Track and resolve shipment discrepancies
• Act as a liaison between trades, suppliers, and the client for tooling accountability
• Provide CribMaster training and support for employees
• Conduct Crib walk-downs and monthly audits to maintain inventory accuracy
• Register new tooling and maintain inventory accuracy
• Host weekly meetings to review action items
• Update work instructions and ensure proper forms are used
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Perform additional related duties as required
What You Bring To The Team
• Experience working in a nuclear power plant preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled in troubleshooting and coordinating support when needed
• CribMaster software experience preferred but not required
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and Adobe tools
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards
• Comfortable delivering in-person training sessions to small groups
Reason for vacancy: Replacement
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
