What is the Opportunity?

Under the direction of the Fleet General Manager, the Shop Assistant Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative and day-to-day support to the Fleet shop, located in Milton, ON.

 

What You'll Do Here: 

  • Request and review supplier quotes for repairs and services.
  • Order and receive parts and materials from suppliers.
  • Interact with shop technicians.
  • Inventory control and monitoring.
  • Interact with suppliers, sub-contractors and intercompany divisions.
  • Set up internal work orders.
  • Request purchase order creation.
  • Receive / post packing slips to our internal system.

 

What You Bring to the Team: 

  • Knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with project or equipment administration is an asset.
  • SAP experience is an asset.
  • Ability to learn new computer programs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Superior communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a focus on deadlines, using initiative and requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
