Reporting to the Planning Manager (or similar), the Assistant Planning Coordinator will have the opportunity to provide administrative support to the Project Team. This opportunity is located in our Montreal office.
CO-OP terms vary in length, there is currently one opening available for a 4-month term starting September 2023.
What You’ll Do Here
- Provide support to the project team for Planning activities (daily, weekly, monthly reporting).
- Work with various stakeholders to gather and disseminate data.
- Follow up with working group leads for planning progress and appropriate mitigation plans (where require).
- Assist in conducting planning workshops.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations as needed.
What You Bring to the Team
- Currently enrolled in a university or technical college diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience in the construction industry is a strong asset.
- Fluency in spoken and written French (English an asset).
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or any other planning software is an asset (but not a requirement)
- Proven track record of good performance and attendance.
- Basic presentation skills.
