What is the Opportunity:
Under the direction of the Tenders Manager, the Proposals Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the propsal team within the Utilities group.
What You Will Do Here:
- Start to finish involvement in bids from Bid Sourcing, Coordination, working with Estimators and SMEs, Writing, Formatting/Polishing, Assembly, Reviews, Bid Debriefs, and Lesson Learned;
- Act as Client Liaison during the Bid Process;
- Document Management for Bid Documents, Tender Library, and supporting building and updating our Content Management System;
- Assist in building and updating templates, documentations, and internal reports;
- Compile and maintain project experience data, including case studies;
- Support marketing initiatives such as internal and external announcements, social media posts, etc.
- Proof reading and formatting various documents for proposals and marketing purposes; and
- Other functions as assigned.
What you bring to the team:
- 2+ years of experience in a proposal writing/coordinating role, preferably in a utility construction environment;
- Fully bilingual (French and English)
- Diploma or degree (business, marketing or communications);
- APMP Certification will be considered an asset;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe, InDesign and working knowledge of the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite;
- Stellar client service skills along with the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as external parties;
- Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks;
- Creative, strategic, forward thinking mindset;
- Dependable with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment with minimum supervision
The expected salary for this position is $70,000-$78,000. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
