Position Title: Field Engineer (Surrey Site)

Responsibilities
• Coordinate field engineering related to all civil works, reviewing construction deliverables for technical compliance and project schedules
• Assist in complete definition of Civil work packages, and value engineering
• Work with Superintendent, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers to plan and execute civil works packages.
• Assist in pricing and procuring work packages and estimates as required.
• Confirm project specifications through engineering research and related analysis.
• Ensure constructions materials comply with technical specifications and project budget
• Assist in the technical monitoring and design of project schedules, construction plans and construction procedures
• Understand Client’s expectations and ensure strict compliance to scope of works to minimize potential contract deviations and departures.
• Promoting a culture of ‘no injury or harm to people’ and leading by example.
• Consulting and communicating with all personnel on WHS matters, procedures, instructions, etc.
• Compliance with all Fraser Crossing Constructor GP (FCCGP) policies and procedures.
• Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities outlined in ACCIONA’s policies and procedures
• Integrated Management System.
• Alignment of ACCIONA design systems and approach with ACCIONA’s requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Working knowledge of the Civil engineering/construction projects.
• Drafting and writing work plans.
• Estimating & Pricing Civil scopes.
• Good working knowledge of design processes and experience in the application of quality
systems.
• Knowledge of drawing software Autodesk AutoCAD and other modeling software.
Special Conditions
• Individuals may be required to travel within Canada and elsewhere as directed.
• Positions hence individuals may be subject to relocation to projects and offices within Canada and elsewhere according to ACCIONA resource requirements.
Experience/Qualifications:
• Undergraduate and/or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Expertise in MS MS Office suite and standard engineering software.
• 2-3 years of related work experience
