- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Support the preparation and analysis of cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Help maintain project documentation, including change orders, progress reports, and risk registers.
- Assist in tracking project budgets and expenditures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and status updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and finance.
- Perform data entry, organization, and visualization using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with project management tools is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise executive summaries, variance narratives, and stakeholder presentations.
- Results-oriented, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities, reporting cycles, and stakeholder expectations under tight timelines.
- Commitment to teamwork, mentoring, knowledge transfer, and developing planning capability across the project controls organization.
- Coursework or previous experience in project management or project controls.
- Familiarity with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and/or cost tracking tools.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles is an asset.
