What is the Opportunity?
CanAtom, a joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Aecon, is delivering the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project under a collaborative contract with Ontario Power Generation. The joint venture is underway to complete the retube, feeder, and boiler replacement (RFBR) of Units 5–8. Building on the successful delivery of the Darlington Refurbishment Project, the CanAtom team brings proven experience in safely executing complex nuclear projects on time and on budget to support Ontario’s clean energy future.
The Series Training Manager is looking for the right person to join their team as a Series Training Coordinator. This role will be responsible for assisting the Series Training Team in the day to day preparation and handling of training material and records.
What You'll Do Here
- Daily preparation of training packages and attendance records for Series Trainers
- Handle the collection of completed series training records and ensure proper scanning and storage per procedures
- Maintain an accurate list of CanAtom series training folders on the Shared Drive; ensure all training documentation is the most current revision; and is uploaded and stored electronically.
- Ensure series training material, documents and completion records are stored securely and are retrievable from Onboarding & Series Training shared project folder.
- Use of project learning management system to validate qualification status and provide supporting reports
- Audit and monitor data integrity of qualifications, users and curricula within the LMS, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain electronic filing system for series training material
- Work with Series Training Manager, Series Training Supervisors, and Series Trainers to understand training demand
- Administrative duties for the series training department as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team
- Work experience or post-secondary learning in Business Administration, Human Resources, Business Management or related program.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office; including excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task on a regular basis.
- Must have a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate with associated department.
- Must have computer skills to perform duties including software experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to be fully in office based with occasional site visits
- Occasional travel may be required

Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
