Position Overview

Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is a multi-disciplined construction company offering superior civil, electrical and mechanical services including piping, insulation, scaffolding, and module fabrication. We’re always on the search for exceptional craft candidates to fill our ever-expanding project portfolios. ACSI is seeking Industrial Painters to join our industrial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Mix paint and coatings according to specifications.
• Apply paint and coatings using various methods such as spraying, brushing, or rolling.
• Ensure proper coverage and finish quality.
• Monitor drying times and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections.

Requirements and Experience

• CSTS-20 Certificate
• Fall Protection
• Experience as a Painter in an industrial construction environment.
• Proficient in using power tools, hand tools and other equipment related to painting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with painting equipment.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work at heights as required.
• Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
• Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Project: Mod Yard ( BHP PAU's)

Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta

Rate: $33.24 to $47.48 per hour

Overtime: Yes

Schedule: 10/4, 10 hour days

Camp: No
