What is the Opportunity?
The Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Co-op Student will support the EHS Shared Services team in advancing environmental, health, and safety systems and performance initiatives across the organization.
This role will provide the student with exposure to many EHS functions, working with a variety of team members within Shared Services. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in EHS reporting, systems, program support, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a 4-month co-op opportunity beginning Fall 2026.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Provide general support to the EHS Shared Services team across various initiatives and projects
- Assist with the coordination, collection, and organization of EHS data and reports
- Support the preparation of EHS dashboards, presentations, and performance summaries
- Assist in maintaining EHS systems and tools, including data entry, organization, and basic troubleshooting
- Help track incidents, corrective actions, and other key safety metrics
- Coordinate and support meetings, training sessions, and other EHS-related activities
- Help maintain and organize EHS documentation, templates, and resource pages
- Collaborate with various teams (projects, sectors, and shared services) to support EHS reporting and system improvements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS processes
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention to detail, demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Well-developed organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Interest in health, safety, and environmental performance in a construction or corporate environment
This role follows a hybrid work model, combining in‑office collaboration and flexibility, with an expectation of three days per week in the office.

The expected salary range for this role is $46,000-$48,000 per year
