- SPOC for coordination of all RFR activities within RB Vault/Airlocks/RAB.
- Perform safe work environment monitoring; controlling overhead hazards, falling objects & housekeeping. Document, track, and update RB Housekeeping deficiencies daily in RB Housekeeping Report. Follow up with RWG for immediate deficiency rectification.
- Consult with RP regarding radiological hazards including High Hazard Restrictive Access in support of parallel work activities.
- OPG SM delegate/eyes in the field for RFR work with regards to ECI Flow path (prior to and after Temporary Containment in-place), Seismic, Protected Equipment Zones (PEZ). Reference: Maintenance Handbook pg. 149-151.
- Liaise with PCC/Planners/Managers with regards to BOP parallel path vault work activity coordination (RFR activity reporting is through the RCC structure and its shift supervisor), preventing RB congestion. Foresee and remove roadblocks in a timely manner to support critical path activities.
- Coordinate and monitor all airlock/hatch traffic/operations & RB staging designation for RBS/FSOS to avoid RB overload (i.e. breathing air) and wasting valuable resources.
- Support VC with planning for functional airlocks/SDC transfer chamber openings to facilitate multiple work activity and minimize single item transfers.
- Ensure non-functional airlock doors (with seals deflated) or temporary barrier doors are kept in the correct position for VVRS efficiency.
- For personnel authorized by ANO, log them into the Work in Progress Binder for personnel movement and tracking purposes. Maintain an open line of communication with OPS, Unit ANO & FH, and Refurb work group supervisors as required.
- Liaise with all vault work groups to control all planned radiography work windows with the intent to minimize impact on JV critical path activities.
- Police clean room standards for Reactor Face Inspection and Installation phases. Ensure proper barriers are in place to prevent particulate-in-air suspension.
- Monitor and promote procedural adherence and safe work practices. Document and coach as required.
- Act as the RFR SS field delegate (eyes in the field) for vault environmental conditions, equipment staging, maintaining paths of access/egress, congestion control, etc.
- Ensure all items brought into RB Seismic designated zones are properly maintained.
- Maintain an accurate daily turnover log including next shift look ahead, housekeeping report, RB status, etc. and hand-off to incoming CFIO at the end of each shift.
- Enforce stringent FME control & SWA requirements in and around RTPs.
- SPOC for refuelling activities reporting directly to OPG SM.
- Highlight current work groups & RB locations on RB maps provided at the CFIO desk and maintain an FLM/FLMa/HOR contact log in the Work in Progress Folder.
- Keep the RAB and SWA hoist area to/from the reactivity deck area free of scaffold material, toolboxes, etc. and ensure all JV, Ops, or BOP contractor materials are promptly removed to allocated SATM areas.
- Yellow Badge qualified.
- Work Protection Level 2 qualified.
- Must be organized and able to self-supervise.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Previous VC/CFIO experience.
- Basic computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of OPG Intranet and procedures.
- Understanding and knowledge of OPG and CanAtom safe work program and policies.
