What You’ll Do Here:
- Track and report EHS performance metrics across Utilities projects in Canada and the U.S.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports to support project and leadership decision-making
- Support the development, revision, and implementation of EHS procedures, communications, and reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with applicable Canadian and U.S. regulatory requirements and client standards
- Maintain EHS records and documentation to ensure accuracy, organization, and audit readiness
- Track and log non-conformances in EHS systems and assist with monthly reporting requirements
- Administer EHS digital systems, including user access, troubleshooting, and system updates
- Coordinate updates to Aecon’s EHS Management System and ensure project alignment
- Support training coordination and track completion to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Provide administrative support to the EHS team, including: Scheduling meetings and training sessions, preparing reports, presentations and meeting minutes, maintaining document control and filing system
- Act as a liaison with project teams (field staff, supervisors, and managers) to resolve EHS-related issues
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS processes, tools, and data quality
What You Bring To The Team:
- Experience supporting EHS programs in Utilities, construction, or infrastructure environments preferred
- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional environments (Canada/U.S.) is an asset
- Strong administrative, coordination, and organizational skills
- Experience with EHS systems, reporting tools, or safety management software
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in data and reports
- Experience working with stakeholders across all levels, including field and leadership teams
- Demonstrated ability to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., utilities, energy, nuclear) is an asset
Reason for Vacancy: Replacement
Salary: The expected salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000 annually.
Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
