What is the Opportunity?
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for providing client-focused support with a strong emphasis on full cycle recruitment, talent sourcing strategies for talent attraction and applicant tracking system utilization.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Accountable for full cycle recruitment process within the Nuclear operating sector
- Support creation and maintenance of Job Descriptions as required
- Post job requisitions internally and externally, and source candidates through the appropriate media – professional organizations, career fairs/educational institutions, and other websites/social media forums
- Screen resumes and conduct pre-screening calls
- Coordinate interview logistics and participate in interviews with hiring managers
- Conduct background and/or reference checks as required
- Work with HR colleagues to create employment offers
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Nuclear HR team on SuccessFactors Recruiting system (ATS)
- Provide regular reporting on Talent Acquisition metrics
- Work with Aecon’s Talent Acquisition team to continually develop social media enhancements for recruitment
- Work with operational leaders and the HR community to successfully execute Aecon’s Campus Relations plan
- Work collaboratively with the broader Talent Acquisition Team on co-op and summer student recruitment, engagement opportunities and campus events
- Works collaboratively with the HR team and management team within operations to take a proactive approach to recruitment by assessing current and future hiring needs
- Generate various ad hoc reports through SAP for supervisors and senior management
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required
What You Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary education with a major in Human Resource Management.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and emerging project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables
- Experience with SAP and Success Factors an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate with various audiences, stakeholders and end users
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues by analyzing and evaluating possible solutions
- Strong customer service skills with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with all level of employees through intuitive business insight and personal credibility; this includes the ability to make recommendations and influence outcomes
- Demonstrated initiative in recognizing opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Proven ability to work within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability using MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
This role follows a hybrid work model, combining in‑office collaboration and flexibility, with an expectation of three days per week in the office.
Reason for vacancy: New
The expected salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000 per year
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may includecertifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
