What is the Opportunity?
The Copilot Studio Admin will own and operate our Microsoft AI platform—spanning M365 Copilot/Copilot Studio and the Power Platform. You will configure environments, manage settings and security, monitor changes, apply updates, and run governance reporting & audits (including Copilot usage and adoption reports). When needed, you will engineer automations, connectors, and deployment pipelines to unblock rollouts and keep the platform reliable, secure, and ready for the next wave of AI enablement.
What You'll Do Here:
Platform Administration (Power Platform & M365 Copilot)
- Administer Power Platform (environments, DLP policies, capacity, solutions, Power Automate flows) via the Power Platform admin center; manage connectors, endpoints, and data policies.
- Oversee M365 Copilot and Copilot Studio environment setup, lifecycle, and configuration; manage actions/plugins, connectors, and publishing settings.
- Manage tenant‑level settings that enable safe AI rollout (e.g., data movement, DLP, plugin approvals, app permissions).
Azure & Entra ID (identity, access, policy)
- Administer Azure subscriptions/resource groups/policies and Entra ID (Azure AD) roles, groups, conditional access, and app registrations/RBAC for AI & Power Platform components.
- Implement least‑privilege access patterns, review privileged roles, and document approvals.
Monitoring, Change, Updates
- Monitor platform changes (service updates, deprecations, feature flags), plan/apply updates, and communicate impacts.
- Maintain platform runbooks, change records, and incident/maintenance calendars aligned with change governance.
Governance, Reporting & Audits
- Produce and automate Copilot adoption/usage reports (e.g., M365 Admin Center usage & license analytics) and Power Platform governance dashboards (environments, makers, DLP violations, connectors).
- Run periodic audits (access reviews, DLP/policy conformance, data residency, actions/plugins approvals, app permissions) and track remediation to closure.
Engineering & Automation (hybrid capability)
- Build/maintain administration automations (e.g., flow governance alerts, nightly inventory jobs), deployment scripts, and CI/CD for solution moves (Dev/Test/Prod).
- Create PowerShell, CLI, or DevOps/GitHub pipelines to standardize environment provisioning, policy as code, and recurring operational tasks.
Security, Privacy & Compliance
- Apply platform guardrails (DLP, data access, tenant boundaries, external data connections) consistent with security guidance for Copilot Studio and Power Platform; coordinate with security/governance teams on exceptions and approvals.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with platform owners, security, data, and product teams to enable next steps in the AI rollout; contribute standards, templates, and admin guides.
- Provide Tier‑3 support for platform issues; educate makers and solution teams on safe patterns.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Hands‑on administration of Power Platform (environments, DLP, capacity, ALM/solutions, Power Automate governance).
- Experience configuring and maintaining Copilot/Copilot Studio environments (topics, actions/plugins, connectors, publishing) and producing Copilot usage/adoption reports from the M365 Admin Center.
- Comfortable with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI) and one CI/CD tool (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) to support ALM.
- Proven ability to run audits and governance reporting (access, DLP, connectors, usage) and to close findings with documented remediation.
- Clear communication and documentation skills; able to translate policy into repeatable admin controls and runbooks.
Nice to have:
- Azure & Entra ID administration experience: RBAC, app registrations/secret management, Conditional Access, Azure Policy/Resource Graph basics.
- Azure AI/Copilot Studio depth (Prompt Flow/Azure AI Foundry basics, plugin/actions governance, data grounding patterns).
- Microsoft Purview/Defender for Cloud Apps exposure (DLP/Shadow IT signals for connectors).
- Experience with KQL/Log Analytics, Power BI for operational dashboards.
- Certifications (any): PL‑200/PL‑400/PL‑600, AZ‑104/AZ‑305, SC‑300 (or equivalent experience).
