What is the Opportunity?

As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible to identify and meet data requirements, design and build efficient data architecture and data pipelines. If you have a passion for working with data and want hands-on experience with technologies like Python, PySpark, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure, this is a great opportunity to build your skills in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do Here: 

• Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines using Python and PySpark
• Learn and apply Databricks for processing and transforming data
• Support data engineering efforts on the Azure Data Platform (including Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and other services)
• Help troubleshoot and optimize data workflows for efficiency and performance
• Collaborate with teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs

What You Bring to the Team:

• Education in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar type of role 
• Basic experience with Python
• Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and querying
• Exposure to big data concepts (structured and unstructured data)
• Willingness to learn Azure tools like Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to grow in data engineering
• Some hands-on experience with PySpark or Databricks
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms, especially in Azure
• Interest in data visualization tools like Power BI
