Reporting to the Design Lead, the Design Coordinator will support with managing technical coordination tasks, improving workflow efficiency, and supporting the overall design delivery process of the project.
What You'll Do Here:
- Maintain and manage design-related trackers, including RFIs, shop drawings, NCRs, WMS, and ESDC logs.
- Track open design actions, ensuring visibility of due dates, responsible parties, and overdue items.
- Support design progress reporting and provide regular status updates to the team.
- Review, sort, and classify RFIs by discipline, priority, and responsible party.
- Monitor and track RFI and NCR response status to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate and follow up with designers, Engineers of Record (EORs), construction teams, and QA/QC stakeholders.
- Compile supporting documentation required for NCR closure.
- Track WMS/ITP design-related actions and ensure alignment with quality requirements.
- Assist with preparation of submission packages, including completeness and readiness reviews.
- Maintain organized digital folders and documentation to ensure proper information management and version control.
- Draft meeting minutes and maintain action logs.
- Track action items between meetings and follow up with responsible stakeholders to drive closure.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or design coordination role (infrastructure or construction environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of design coordination processes, including RFIs, NCRs, and submittals.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple trackers and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow up effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment.
- Be available to work fully in-person 5 days per week.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
