What is the Opportunity?

As the BI Developer you will design, build, and optimize enterprise data and reporting environments. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT partners to translate organizational needs into scalable, high‑quality BI and analytics solutions. You will be instrumental in developing modern data architectures, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, and delivering insights that drive informed decision‑making across the organization.

 

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using SAP toolsets and modern BI platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Ensure all reports and dashboards are accurate, timely, and actionable, following best practices in BI development.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support enterprise analytics.
  • Cleanse and transform raw data into structured, usable formats; integrate data from multiple systems.
  • Design and maintain data models to support analytical and reporting needs.
  • Develop and manage data warehouses and data marts, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Validate data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems and pipelines.
  • Perform unit testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify needs, and provide follow‑ups.
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to deliver cohesive data solutions.
  • Present insights and findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ensure data privacy, compliance, and audit readiness through robust governance practices.
  • Implement role-based access controls and maintain data security protocols.
  • Support and promote data governance practices across the extended team.
  • Remain up to date with emerging tools and technologies (including BDC/BTP) and contribute to architectural improvements.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing BI, analytics, and data solutions, with advanced proficiency in SAP technologies.
  • Proven experience in SAP HANA modeling and development, including performance optimization and data architecture design.
  • Proficient in SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere, with hands-on experience building scalable data solutions.
  • Strong background in SAP BusinessObjects tools, including SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Web Intelligence (WebI), and Information Design Tool (IDT).
  • Extensive experience developing interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, architecture, and ETL development across structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, and database design.
  • Demonstrated success with BI solution development, system migration, and ongoing operational maintenance.
  • Experience performing full end-to-end root cause analysis, including debugging and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, data security, data redundancy, and compliance guidelines.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Certifications in relevant development languages or SAP technologies considered an asset.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers, and IT teams to accurately define requirements and deliver effective solutions.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $81,500-$100,000
