Reporting to the Field Manager, Ontario Canada, the Field Inspector, will be responsible for the conducting field inspections in various regions with a goal of achieving best in class customer service and quality. Duties will include directing the coordination of field-based inspections and technician requirements.

What You'll Do Here:

• Responsible for regularly conducting field inspections within the timelines provided by the Field Manager; ensuring the quality and safety of work completed is as expected.

• Ensure that the equipment being used in the field is maintained and calibrated.

• Completing, documenting, and uploading survey records based on field conditions.

• Responsible for implementing and monitoring of the company’s safety policy for the designated region.

• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Minimum 1 year of experience conducting GPS and/or Total Station surveying.

• Maintain a valid provincial driver’s license with the ability to provide a driver’s abstract quarterly.

• Must be willing to travel across Ontario for field inspections.

• Knowledge of survey practices and standards is considered a strong asset.

• Familiarity of working with an IKE GPS would be considered an asset.

• Installation and repair experience and knowledge in Hydro and Telecommunications work is considered an asset.

• Works effectively in a team environment (subcontractors, tech’s, office staff, management, other), under pressure.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent computer skills, functional with key MS Office software

• Willing to work flexible hours and schedule (on-call, occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays)
