The Planner/Scheduler will partner closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Project Controls to develop, maintain, and optimize integrated project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Planner Scheduler or Project Controls Lead, this role is responsible for analyzing project performance, monitoring progress against plan, identifying schedule risks and opportunities, and delivering accurate reporting and forecasts that support successful project execution and completion.
What You'll Do Here:
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules in Primavera P6 across all project phases, from planning through commissioning.
- Review project scope, drawings, estimates, and execution plans to create detailed work breakdown structures and schedule logic.
- Identify critical and near-critical paths, monitor schedule performance, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks and delays.
- Integrate schedules with project budgets, resources, productivity metrics, and forecasting to support effective project controls.
- Track progress against baseline schedules and prepare project control reports, including S-curves, manpower histograms, and schedule performance updates.
- Analyze schedule, cost, productivity, and change management data to support forecasting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with scheduling standards and reporting requirements.
- Support proposals, look-ahead planning, project forecasting, and the development of junior schedulers and project controls personnel.
- Travel to project sites as required and work effectively in fast-paced construction environments, including remote locations and extended project assignments.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a target of 5 years of project planning, scheduling, or project controls experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Experience with project controls, scheduling, forecasting, cost analysis, and performance reporting in a construction or infrastructure environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with TILOS linear scheduling is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, work at project sites, and adapt to flexible schedules as required.

The expected pay range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
