What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Procurement Manager will oversee and manage all Procurement disciplines; Subcontracts, Purchasing, Material Control, Expediting, Logistics for the GO Rail Expansions (RER) project that will maximize profitability, improve efficiency and drive strategy. 

 

What You'll Do Here

  • Collaboration with the various disciplines/teams to define, plan and schedule Procurement’s roles and responsibilities and tasks.
  • Define KPI metrics to track and monitor Procurement progress and performance.
  • Participate in key management meetings to present Procurement’s performance and progress.
  • In collaboration with other functions (finance, legal), develop the procurement forms, templates, workflows, processes to be implemented.
  • Assist in drafting up the required SOW and identifying key suppliers.
  • Work with the Commercial and Legal teams to develop the Terms and Conditions.
  • Participate in all contract negotiations.
  • Direct communication with suppliers on all critical Procurement-related matters.
  • Support accounting department to align on invoice accounting and payable days
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
  • Must have 3-5 years of local/regional Procurement management experience, ideally in the Engineering and Construction\EPC industry or on Transit/Rail infrastructure projects.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, results oriented and possess high degree of initiative.
  • Effective time management skills, work well under pressure.
  • Solid PC skills with MS Office and database tools.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment.
